Job Summary:

As a Transportation Specialist - Product Handling at ALPLA UK Limited, you will be responsible for the collection and movement of finished packed products to the automated wrapper. This is a key role within our production team, and you will be working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving finished packed products to an automated wrapper in a busy packing environment.
  • Bringing all required packing materials to the packing lines.
  • Safe and correct use of equipment including a pedestrian ride on truck / FLT/ Pallet wrapper in a heavy pedestrian area.
  • Identifying poor quality in either materials or finished goods.
  • Flexibility to undertake new tasks as required.
  • Working with in-housekeeping and 5S guidelines to improve both efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Personable and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a busy manufacturing environment.
  • A valid FLT License (Counterbalance) is required.
