We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our team in Seaford, East Sussex. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will work with individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse, providing housing and tenancy-related support.

This role requires a professional who can deliver high-quality support services, coordinate support services, and signpost customers to external resources. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure customers have access to good quality information about the client's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support services to customers, assisting them in achieving their goals.
  • Develop and implement SMART support plans with individual clients.
  • Signpost customers to external resources, such as primary healthcare and statutory services.
  • Facilitate needs and risk assessments with and for customers.
  • Work with customers to develop individual budget plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience in housing management or related support services.
  • Knowledge of domestic abuse and social care sector legislation.
  • A good understanding of customer needs in supported accommodation.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of welfare benefits.
  • Enhanced DBS Check.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package.
