About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our HW V&V team, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases for satellite/payload testing (SDR – Software defined radio).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of space systems and satellite communication principles, protocols, and technologies, satellite operations and payload engineering.
  • Solid understanding of Software Defined Radio concepts for Payload application.
  • Solid knowledge of embedded software validation methodologies for SoC/FPGA based systems.
  • Expertise in testing and verifying real-time or safety-critical systems for Payload.
  • Experience in test-cases development and execution for Payload SW testing (satcom payload).
  • Solid understanding of interdisciplinary validation and troubleshooting of complex systems involving hardware, software, and algorithms.
  • Experience in validation of software algorithms and operational systems against user-defined requirements.
  • Experience using Automated systems validation/regression testing.
  • Experience creating test cases, using protocol simulators (intermediate knowledge of Java programming is mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of real-time operating systems (free-RtOS, or embedded Linux with real-time extensions), systems programming, concurrency, and scheduling.
