Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join our dedicated team at Matchtech. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to drive and sustain continuous improvement initiatives within the cell.

Job Description

This Aerospace CMM Quality Specialist role involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T references. You will perform inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and purchase orders, provide inspection coverage as required, following quality protocols and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment and uphold high housekeeping standards as per Eaton guidelines.
  • Drive and sustain continuous improvement initiatives within the cell.
  • Perform inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and purchase orders.
  • Provide inspection coverage as required, following quality protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with quality investigations and conduct First Article reports.
  • Monitor statistical process control data for ongoing production.
  • Participate in non-conformance investigations using precision measuring tools.
  • Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and specialised inspection equipment.
  • Sign off on items as compliant, using an authorised stamp.

Requirements

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted adherence to ITAR regulations.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £19.21 per hour, paid at time and a half for hours over 37 per week, with double time on Sundays. Core working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm, Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am.
