Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lithium Market Analyst to join our dynamic global team of researchers dedicated to understanding the rapidly evolving energy transition and battery raw materials markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on lithium market analysis and forecasts, including identifying necessary data inputs, overseeing procurement, collection, cleaning, and validating for forecasting lithium supply, and analyzing and integrating lithium demand forecasts for EV and ESS applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection, management, analysis, and forecast model development, with a focus on battery or commodities research, mining and refining, commodities trading, and/or industrial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and maintaining lithium market forecasts, including supply and demand analysis, market balance, and price forecasts.
  2. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather market insights and data.
  3. Creating high-quality content, including reports, presentations, and articles, to communicate market analysis and forecasts to clients.
  4. Providing exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and delivering data and insights to support business growth.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and market changes to ensure accurate and timely analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in data collection, management, analysis, and forecast model development.
  • Strong background in battery or commodities research, mining and refining, commodities trading, and/or industrial manufacturing.
  • Excellent data analysis and forecasting skills, with experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis applications.
