We are seeking a commercially focused Associate Director to join our Planning team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will take a leadership role on planning projects, coordinating and overseeing projects, and building upon existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning projects and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow existing client relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide technical input into projects and bids, using your expertise to identify and realize new client opportunities.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure their needs are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring their development and growth within the company.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, maintaining your professional knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • Accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in the planning industry, ideally including experience in the private sector and direct management of staff or leading a team.
