Care and Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Amegreen Children’s Services. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with Learning Disabilities. Our residential service is committed to delivering exceptional care, promoting independence, and fostering positive relationships.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children. Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care and support to children according to their individual needs.
- Assisting with daily routines, such as meal times, medication, and leisure activities.
- Participating in educational and recreational activities designed to promote learning and development.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, and be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards their unique needs. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies.
