Lead Pharmacist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, safe, and effective pharmacy service within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services on the Haematology/Oncology Ward, including reviewing patients in the chemotherapy day unit and providing advice on the prescribing of SACT.
- Work closely with Consultants, CNSs, Resident Doctors, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide a full holistic patient experience.
- Develop and contribute towards the department objectives and assist with operational and governance.
Requirements
- Registered with the GPhC.
- Postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
- Specialist knowledge in oncology, aseptic production, and haematology is essential.
- Extensive experience in the above areas.
- Experience working within a hospital setting.
- Previous management experience is essential.
