Senior Production Coordinator

About the Role:This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organized and motivated Senior Production Coordinator to join our team at Response Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and control of all resources associated with the Packing Area.
You will ensure that the packing operation runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting quality standards and controlling costs and wastage. You will work closely with the Planning Manager to develop and implement plans that meet production requirements and maintain excellent GMP standards.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with a varied shift pattern including evenings and weekends. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary, opportunities for career progression, and a range of employee benefits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, coordination, and control of all resources associated with the Packing Area
- Develop and implement plans that meet production requirements
- Maintain excellent GMP standards throughout the Packing Area
- Ensure compliance with product specifications and delivery of high-quality products
- Control costs, yields, and giveaway within the Packing Department
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth communication and documentation
- Monitor and improve processes to optimize output and efficiency
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or industry
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of BRC and customer audit requirements
- Experience of SAP software and lean manufacturing techniques
