Wild Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV driver to cover night trunk pallet work for a family-run business based in Portsmouth. This is a permanent position with a guaranteed 50 hours per week. The salary is between £38,000 and £42,000 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a quarter. The working hours are between 16:30 and 19:30, with finish times between 3am and 8am. Benefits include free on-site parking, company pension, and the chance to earn an extra £50 per week with the company's bonus scheme. A paid lunch break and on-site training are also provided. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license with Category C+E, a Digi tacho card, and valid CPC. Previous experience driving a double-decker vehicle is also required. While forklift qualifications for counterbalance and/or reach trucks, as well as an ADR license, are desirable, they are not essential.
