Job Title: Data Management Solutions Specialist

Join Bloomberg, a fast-paced and innovative company, as a Data Management Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be part of the Enterprise DMS team, which is responsible for providing managed services that improve Data Quality, Operational Process and Control, and Data Governance.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team. As a Data Management Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for driving annual sales and revenue targets for a defined territory. You will work closely with clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business needs and provide consultative solutions that address their data management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive annual sales and revenue targets for a defined territory.
  2. Work in a collaborative selling environment while maximising the resources available to help you sell.
  3. Build and execute on sales strategies while collaborating with internal sales and account management groups as required.
  4. Assist Enterprise Sales members across the organisation in identifying data management sales opportunities.
  5. Effectively build a sales pipeline and accurately handle forecasts throughout the sales cycle.
  6. Validate the client workflow and engage the appropriate technical and client service resources where necessary.
  7. Frequent client and prospect interaction through sales calls and on-site visits.
  8. Maintain strong industry and product knowledge of the full data management suite of solutions, its integration points with other Bloomberg products and competitor/3rd party offerings.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in enterprise solutions selling, preferably with enterprise technology or enterprise data management solutions in the financial market sector.
  2. Proven ability in accurate pipeline management from initial lead to close.
  3. Skilled in establishing, developing, and maintaining key relationships within strategic accounts, including senior client relationships at CxO levels.
  4. Familiarity with enterprise data management systems is desirable.
  5. Willingness for regular business travel.
