Job Title: Process Safety Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a Process Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of process safety best practice, providing advice on process safety standards and systems, and coaching and supporting manufacturing teams in risk analysis techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead Process Safety risk assessments, including HazOps, BowTies, and LOPAs
* Provide advice on Process Safety standards and systems to the installation using best practice from the Process Safety group
* Coach and support the manufacturing teams in risk analysis techniques, ensuring completion and review of the risk assessments in compliance with the Management of Change system
* Deliver training modules associated with Process Safety and COMAH as required to Tata Steel and contract personnel
* Participate in Process Safety incident investigations
* Own and develop installation specific Process Safety documents and databases
* Be points of contact for Functional Safety and DSEAR queries
* Ensure COMAH compliance is maintained and the installation safety reports are updated and reviewed
* Coordinate and review the installation improvement plans

Requirements:

* Chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineers with operational experience and understanding of process safety practices and principals
* Clear vision of excellence in Process Safety and experience and competence in core safety subjects such as risk assessment and management systems
