Senior Buyer - Contract Manufacture (Electronics)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Buyer to lead our contract manufacturing efforts in electronics. This is a critical role that requires strong technical and commercial acumen, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement complex electronic supply chain strategies to meet current and future manufacturing requirements.
  • Lead the identification of suppliers and negotiate contracts that minimize risk and maximize value for our organization.
  • Manage and maintain a formalized risk register for individual scopes of supply and the extended supply chain.
  • Track and report cost savings or avoidances and engineering changes within the supply chain.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, candidates should have:

  • Exceptional technical and commercial acumen.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
