We are seeking a highly skilled EHSS Advisor to join our EHSS team at Fortune Brands Innovations. As an EHSS Advisor, you will play a critical role in driving our safety-first agenda on site, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the EHSS safety-first agenda on site, conducting regular audits and monitoring routine checks to maintain robust auditory control.
- Act as the site's EHSS representative, engaging with the wider site management team and employees to ensure a collaborative approach to delivering a safe and compliant environment.
- Carry out regular Critical 15 site audits, collate action points, and ensure their completion.
- Manage and mitigate risks, escalating serious risks to senior management as necessary.
- Work with external contractors to complete statutory audits, ensuring all action points are managed to completion.
- Maintain positive relationships with external service providers, conducting service review meetings and spot checks of RAMS.
- Hold and document monthly committee meetings with site committee, ensuring incident investigations are completed to the approved standard.
- Assign and review the completion of all action points, logging all EHSS activity on OPUS.
- Escalate all training gaps and serious incidents, ensuring legal operating compliance of the site.
- Drive the site's continuous improvement agenda, completing monthly site ESG data and planning programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices.
- Review and amend induction material, identifying continuous improvement and site-specific content.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance of onsite peers, cascading policy changes to Site Managers and peers.
- Manage the site evacuation procedure.
- NEBOSH general certificate
- TechIOSH
- 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Managed a small team
