We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Services Team Assistant to join our Specialist Services Division. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your administration skills and build strong relationships with senior staff. As a Cancer Services Team Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Cancer Services Senior Management Team and assist the Lead Cancer Nurse with various tasks.

About the Role

This is a rewarding non-patient facing position that requires strong organizational skills, including diary management, task management, planning, minute-taking, and report production. You will be part of a dynamic team providing professional administrative services to senior staff, allowing them to focus on their critical roles.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to learn systems related to Quality and provide cross-cover for the Stem Cell Quality Assurance Co-ordinator role. Priority consideration will be given to staff with 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status, including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Cancer Services Senior Management Team with organization, diary management, and task management
  • Collaborate with the Lead Cancer Nurse to complete administrative tasks and provide direct support
  • Produce reports, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed
  • Learnsystems related to Quality and provides cross-cover for the Stem Cell Quality Assurance Co-ordinator role
Working Arrangements

This role is based in Devon, with a standard working schedule of 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust retains the right to close the vacancy when sufficient applications have been received.
