Job Title: Site Installations Technician

We are seeking a skilled Site Installations Technician to join our team at Duval Associates in Warwickshire. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for conducting installation and maintenance tasks at customer sites.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a fitter/technician in similar process industry site environments. You will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining mechanical and process equipment, as well as performing tasks such as welding, drilling, steel cutting, chemical handling, and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake site work duties as directed by the Installations Manager.
  • Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical and process equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as welding, drilling, steel cutting, chemical handling, and cleaning.
  • Operate mechanical lifting equipment, machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Handle materials and perform manual tasks.
  • Escalate serious issues to line management for further direction.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a fitter/technician in similar process industry site environments.
  • Relevant qualifications acquired through vocational education, apprenticeships, and certificated courses.
  • Certifications such as PASMA (for erecting scaffolding), CSCS (for construction site working), and elevated platform operator's license along with MIG and TIG welding.
  • Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) training.
  • Full driving license and valid passport.
