We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a Functional Skills English teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients with accessing educational opportunities and achieving competence and qualifications relevant to their abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in English, a Level 5 teaching qualification in post-16 or secondary education, and experience of teaching adults with challenging behaviors.

You will be responsible for planning and developing educational sessions, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs of activity. A strong understanding of the mental health environment and ability to work effectively with individuals who have had limited opportunity in education and/or life is essential.

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and flexible individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, we encourage you to apply.
