About the Role

We are seeking a talented Sales Assistant to join our Newcastle branch, working within the branch Sales Team to deal directly with customers and maximise sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer orders and enquiries by phone and email, building friendly relationships through great customer service.
  • Communicate with the team and suppliers to ensure a smooth transaction for the customer.
  • Be involved in face-to-face customer service on the trade counter.
Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individual with good numerical and computer skills. Previous experience in a similar sales role is ideal, with great customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of customers and colleagues.

Product knowledge is key to the role, but full product training will be provided.
