In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV, managing access, and assisting visitors, while providing top-notch customer service and upholding our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities include preventing and deterring unauthorised access to site, monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV, and conducting external and internal security patrols
  • You will also provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required, carry out routine tests of security equipment, manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties, and maintain all logbooks and records
  • In addition, you will issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property, provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed
  • You will report any emergencies and follow instructions, investigate the cause of all fire alarm activations, and report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged, or vandalised
  • Other responsibilities include operating radios, pagers, clocking equipment, and other physical security equipment, displaying an outstanding level of customer service, and ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion
