Job Title: Care Assistant with Meal Preparation Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at UKCIL. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, including meal preparation, personal care, and domestic tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare healthy meals for service users in line with dietary requirements
  • To assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • To maintain a clean and safe living environment for service users
  • To support service users with their social and leisure activities, promoting independence and well-being
  • To participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle or ability to drive a motability equipped car
  • Safe administration of medication, continence care, and epilepsy awareness
  • First aid and food hygiene certification
  • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
