About the Role

Omega is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Aerospace Engineer, you will be responsible for working on aircraft systems analysis solutions within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet agreed timelines for engineering analysis deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform classical static stress and fatigue analysis on aircraft systems
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organizations as required
  • Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or suggest alternative methods
  • Work with hybrid/Flexible working hours with an early finish on a Friday (4.5 day working week)

Requirements
  • Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in aerospace engineering, including working with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
  • Experience of static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with aerospace materials engineering properties
  • Experience of working to regulatory requirements
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
