Account Management Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Internal Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with customers in a designated geographic sales area. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for ensuring their satisfaction, driving sales, and providing support to ensure their ongoing success with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers in the assigned geographic area, acting as their primary contact for inquiries, issues, and support.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing customers, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop account plans tailored to each customer's needs and business objectives, ensuring alignment with the company's growth goals.
- Assist customers in resolving product issues, troubleshooting, and providing solutions in a timely manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Work closely with external account managers, product teams, and customer support teams to deliver seamless customer service and achieve collective goals.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Use data to adjust strategies and improve performance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and close deals within existing accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in a sales distribution industry is an advantage but not required.
