Teaching Assistant Role

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Help with the planning and preparation of learning materials.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their social and specific needs for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Teaching assistant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ.
  • Experience in a care or support worker role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for education.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
  • An updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service.
