We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal clinic in Dunfermline, Scotland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate RVN to work closely with our team of two Vets, practice manager/RVN, SVN, one VCA, and two receptionists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional preventative healthcare and advancing anaesthesia and analgesia standards.

You will have:

  • A strong clinical interest in preventative care, anaesthesia, analgesia, dentistry, and in-patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear communication with clients throughout their journey within the practice.
  • The ability to help colleagues develop their skills and champion their successes.
  • Experience in planning tasks efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met.

About the Practice

This established, RCVS & TP accredited small animal practice is located just 25 minutes from Edinburgh. Our intimate team is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients and excellent service to our clients. We offer a range of modern facilities, including digital X-ray, dental X-ray & CR7 digital processor, pulse oximetry/capnography, and in-house biochemistry & haematology.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a full-time position of 40 hours per week with a future weekend rota of 1:4 Saturdays. You will not be required to do any OOH duties. We also cover all professional fees, provide a company pension, and offer 20% off.
