Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Shift Team Leader to join our team at Blueleaf Limited. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular stocktakes.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues and problems, escalating to senior management as necessary.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a team leadership or supervisory role in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, as well as inventory management principles.
  • Certifications: Forklift truck license and previous experience with counterbalance and high-reach forklift trucks.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £31,584 per annum, paid breaks, and 33 days holiday including bank and public holidays. You will also be eligible for inclusion in a discretionary bonus scheme and a number of welfare benefits, including auto-enrolment into our pension scheme and access to our Medicash scheme.
