Client Focus
- You will create and design effective implementations of PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies on assigned commissions.
- You will support best-in-class service delivery and effective engagement with wider industry and professional bodies to promote Mace.
- You will develop your expertise in PMO and project controls, with a growing internal and external network.
- You will assist with the administration of PMO and project controls processes on a project operating under supervision and mentorship.
- You will assist with the preparation of monthly reports as required.
- You will contribute to the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.
- You will assist in the development of PMO and project controls methodologies.
- You will contribute to the delivery of all PMO and planning disciplines.
- You will support ensuring that all PMO and project controls activity is aligned to Mace's control centre.
- You will work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions.

- You will manage project teams in the administration of the PMO and project controls process, particularly with respect to cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting.
- You will support senior PMO stakeholders in influencing long-term development of strategy for a function or business unit.

Create Opportunity
- You will mentor, coach, and develop your project team, providing an environment to share knowledge and experience.
- You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, centres of excellence, Mace way control centre, and knowledge hub.
- You will support the HUB PMO and project controls director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.
You'll Need to Have
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be part of a high-performing team.
- Articulate and able to assimilate information quickly.
- Attention to detail.
- General interest in construction/consultancy sector.
- General interest in PMO and project controls disciplines, including reporting and performance management.
- Basic awareness/understanding of basic risk principles, processes, and techniques.
- An interest in data analytics.
- General awareness/understanding of construction/consultancy sector.
- Seeks to continuously improve.
- Relevant university degree, e.g. construction, engineering, or equivalent.
- APM planning and project controls Foundation.
You'll Also Have
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
