Support Staff Member for Special Needs Education

Polaris Community's Easthorpe School seeks a dedicated individual to join its team as a Teaching Assistant. This challenging yet rewarding role involves working closely with a Classroom Teacher to provide tailored support to pupils with complex needs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:- Mentor and support one pupil or a small group of up to six pupils with SEMH needs and various diagnoses.
- Assist with lesson planning, classroom preparation, and pupil supervision during non-classroom time.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, driving interaction and learning outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong educational background, ideally to A-level, and previous experience working with pupils who require additional support. A commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff are also essential. In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £19,186.02 - £22,160.57 per annum, along with opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic school community.
