We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Safety Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent. This is a key role within our project and engineering portfolio, which is spread across our UK network at all sites and stations.
Main Responsibilities- Lead HSE Initiatives: Provide positive leadership on HSE matters within the Portfolio Project Teams and promote the adoption of best practice, fostering an enthusiastic HSE culture that engages all employees in continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Monitor and Report: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system and progress against HSE Performance Standards, making recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
- Accountability: Accountable to the client PPM or equivalent Group Head, with functional responsibilities to the client HSE Lead.
- Business Travel: Business travel to UK sites/stations may be required.
- Project Delivery: Report to the Jacobs Operations Manager, but be accountable for project delivery directly to the client.
- Qualifications: Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or NVQ Level 3.
- Professional Memberships: Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) desirable.
- Certifications: IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
- Operational Knowledge: Operational knowledge of current HSE legislation associated with project work.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to develop networks and working relationships with other groups involved in project delivery.
- Experience: Suitable relevant experience working as a HSE Professional in a project context, including experience working within a highly regulated operational environment and managing contractors, as well as experience in accident investigation and reporting.
