Job Title: Construction Craftsman

Are you a skilled joiner and carpenter with experience in housing developments? Do you have a driving licence, own vehicle, and own tools?

We are recruiting for a Construction Craftsman to join our in-house trade team at Watson Construction Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external window and door hanging, first, second, and final fix works, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' onsite experience, NVQ Level 2 or above in Joinery and Carpentry, and a firedoor fitting qualification (preferable). You must also be able to attend a company induction prior to starting on site.

The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, paid weekly, and includes competitive benefits such as 33 days annual leave, company pension, and employee assist programme.

Key Responsibilities:
* Internal and external window and door hanging (inc fire, Upvc and composite products)
* First, second, and final fix works
* Keeping workspaces, safe, clean and tidy
* Complete joinery and multi-skilled tasks in line with project timescales and programmes
* Interpret drawings to identify materials required to complete works
* Mentor other members of the multi-skilled team including apprentices
* Completing general labouring duties as and when required

Requirements:
* Driving licence, own vehicle, and own tools
* Minimum 3 years onsite experience
* NVQ Level 2 or above in Joinery and Carpentry
* Firedoor fitting qualification (preferable)
* First aid certification (preferable)
* Face fit tested (preferable)
* CSCS card preferred although further training will be provided
