As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Papworth Hall School. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN needs and autism, with experience in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist teachers in creating personalized learning plans for students with complex needs* Prepare and implement educational resources to support student learning* Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues* Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment* Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistency in approaches and strategies
**Requirements:**
* Experience working with students with SEN and autism* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team* Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs* Familiarity with SEN policies and procedures* BTEC or NVQ Level 2 in Learning Support or equivalent* Enhanced DBS clearance
