Social Worker

Medway Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join their team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families in Medway.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and providing support to children and families, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
What We OfferMedway Council offers a competitive salary of up to £41,567 per annum, as well as a range of benefits, including a market premia payment of up to £5,500 per annum, a £3,000 annual retention payment, and a generous annual leave entitlement. We also offer an excellent local government pension scheme, an essential car user allowance, and free car parking.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a recognised Social Work qualification, such as a Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or CQSW, and be registered with the relevant professional body. You will also need to have completed an ASYE and have a driver's licence with access to your own vehicle.
