About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking to develop their skills in mental health pharmacy and make a significant difference to the health outcomes of the people who use our services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a clinical pharmacy service to in-patient wards across the different sites of the Trust, providing clinical support to the Trust dispensary, and engaging with RPS and CPPE initiatives for newly qualified and foundation pharmacists.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a clinical pharmacy service to in-patient wards across the Trust sites as directed by the Lead Clinical Pharmacist.
  • Provide clinical support to the Trust dispensary and be part of the on-call rota with other members of the team.
  • Engage with RPS and CPPE initiatives for newly qualified and foundation pharmacists.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters or equivalent degree in Pharmacy.
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical or Psychiatric Pharmacy.
  • Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
  • Member of College of Mental Health Pharmacy.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position, and the salary range is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave entitlement, flexible working hours, and access to training and development opportunities.
