Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Tameside General Hospital. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards at the hospital. Your expertise in mechanical systems will be essential in providing guidance to others on site and ensuring compliance with statutory and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plant equipment
- Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems, and monitor facility performance
- Plan, prioritize, and resource projects
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures
- Administer and complete relevant paperwork in a timely manner
- Develop effective working relationships with business partners, including sub-contractors management
Requirements:
- ONC/C&G or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
- Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
- Ability to measure, work to plans, and read technical diagrams
