At Mous, we're committed to delivering high-quality tech products that exceed our customers' expectations. As a Senior Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing our cases and screen protectors.

This is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in design engineering, product development, and project management. You'll be responsible for leading multiple R&D projects from concept to manufacture, working closely with our production team to ensure seamless launches of new products.

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and value to the company. Our hybrid work approach allows you to balance flexibility with collaborative teamwork, with at least two days spent in the office per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop multiple R&D projects for cases and screen protectors.
  • Manage projects from initial research through to final production.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Design Engineering, with a sound knowledge of product development through prototyping and testing.
  • Extensive experience in working the entire production process: from early stage design to manufacture, with multiple parts and assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of different testing methodologies and ability to communicate product attributes using data.
  • In-depth knowledge of injection moulding and key DFM features needed to create mass manufacturable products.
  • Awareness of various materials, including thermoplastics, composites, and metals.
  • Demonstrable evidence of managing and delivering design solutions on time, to specification, and within cost and budget parameters.
  • Proficient in Excel and able to produce complex reports.
  • Highly competent in CAD Modelling, ideally using SolidWorks.
