AB Beauty Recruitment is a leading provider of top talent in the beauty industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beauty Salon Director to lead our flagship salon to success.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Salon Operations Manager who can achieve sales and profit targets while maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional guest care. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing salon operations, fostering strong connections with the team and regional manager, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage salon operations to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Foster strong connections with your regional manager and team, creating a culture of respect and professionalism.
  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional care and personally address any concerns.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and handle performance issues effectively.
  • Maintain stock levels, handle stock takes, and manage purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Organise rotas to cover all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and share new techniques and products with your team.
  • Ensure the reception area runs efficiently.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development to motivate your team and improve sales.

Your Performance Targets
  • Review and praise team members, set targets, and support them in achieving goals.
  • Achieve personal and salon sales targets, and control costs effectively.
  • Drive local awareness and promotions to boost salon visibility.

Your Qualifications and Experience
  • 2-3 years in a managerial role, preferably with management qualifications.
  • Knowledge and qualifications in beauty treatments (70% hands on treatments and 30% management).
  • Strong numerical skills and experience with performance management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively.
