Paediatrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our Community Health Team at the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS).

The successful candidate will provide a high standard of community-based specialist paediatric developmental and medical assessment services to clients of community health as part of the Child Development Service.

• Provide a clinical developmental and medical assessment and management service for children referred to the Child Development Service, at various sites, utilising an advanced level of clinical practice.
• Participate as an active member of multi-disciplinary teams involving Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Audiologists and others in providing a comprehensive developmental service.
• Provide consultation and advice to other professionals in regard to all areas of clinical speciality.
• Participate and assist in the continued medical educational activities and supervision of medical students, doctors in training and other health workers as appropriate.
