As a seasoned mental health professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the wellbeing of young individuals at Emerald Place Clinic in Surrey. With our state-of-the-art facility supporting 12 beds for CAMHS services, you will work closely with an experienced team to deliver bespoke nutritional plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

We seek a skilled Dietitian with experience from the NHS and/or private sector to manage complex caseloads and establish rapport with service users. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating individualised nutrition plans that address health concerns, goals, and dietary restrictions.

In this role, you will not only contribute to the development of specialist treatment plans but also engage with local community teams to ensure seamless care. Our commitment to training and development opportunities ensures your career growth and aspirations are met.

  • Liaising with our catering department to review menus, allergen lists, portioning sizes, and special menus regularly.
  • Co-facilitating group activities, staff training, and one-to-one nutrition counselling sessions to assess eating behaviours, beliefs, and attitudes about food and health.
  • Delivering the Nourish to Flourish psychoeducation group to help patients understand their eating disorders and explore their beliefs about food and bodies.
  • Providing one-to-one family support to educate families on the complex relationship between food and health, as well as strategies for supporting patients to eat at home.
  • A BSc in Dietetics or postgraduate diploma in Dietetics, along with post-qualification training.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Eating Disorders in children and young people and their impact on both the client group and their families/carers.
