About the Role

The BBC is seeking a talented individual to join its Data Science Degree Apprenticeship Programme. As a Data Science Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in data science, working on real-world projects and collaborating with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
  • Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines
  • Collaborate with data analysts to develop and maintain data visualizations
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning models
  • Participate in the development of data engineering solutions

About the Programme

The Data Science Degree Apprenticeship Programme is a 36-month programme that combines on-the-job training with academic study. You will study for a BSc (Hons) in Data Science with BPP University, while working on real-world projects and collaborating with experienced professionals.

Eligibility

  • Be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts
  • Have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years
  • Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract
  • Not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organisation
