About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Premises Team as a School Cleaner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain classrooms, kitchens, toilets, and public areas to the highest standards
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Empty bins and move rubbish to designated collection points
  • Replenish consumables and report any items requiring repair or replacement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Requirements
  • Close attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the team and the school
  • Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning is desirable but not essential
