About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Have an enthusiastic and can-do attitude, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Display a strong team player mentality and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Be reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to timekeeping and attendance.
  • Have a safety-first mindset and be willing to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols.
  • Experience within a similar catering-related role is desirable, but not essential.
