Humanities Teacher Job Description

Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a previously "Good" rated school in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum and be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that inspire and challenge students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school's curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Maintain a well-organised and professional classroom environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members within the department and throughout the school.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Adhere to and implement the school's policies consistently and effectively.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with recent experience as a Humanities Teacher in a mainstream school setting. They will also have strong classroom and behaviour management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
