Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our Image Processing UK department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development of cutting-edge algorithms and technologies that use imaging sensors to provide situational awareness and guide weapons to their target with maximum precision.
About the RoleAs a Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research studies into cutting-edge technological innovations for future products. You will develop algorithms as part of a wider product programme, working in collaboration with expert engineers and other graduates from a broad range of fields. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the weapon's design and functionality and have the opportunity to develop skills with a range of tools and platforms, including Matlab, Python, Deep Learning libraries, and C/C++.
What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a candidate who is currently studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline. You will have a strong understanding of Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence techniques and be able to apply your knowledge to real-world engineering projects and technologies.
What We OfferWe offer a 10-month undergraduate placement starting September 2025, with the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects and technologies. You will be part of a friendly and motivated team and have access to excellent site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a cutting-edge field and contribute to the development of world-beating algorithms and technologies.
