About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our Pre Assessment Department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of pre-assessment clinics for patients undergoing elective surgery
  • Conduct routine tests and procedures, such as ECGs and phlebotomy, as required
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health/Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Substantial previous experience in a relevant field, ward, or department
  • Experience of undertaking pre-assessments and conducting routine tests and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
