We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist rehabilitation care for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) or progressive neurological conditions (PNCs).
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex cases, taking into account cultural and linguistic differences, and develop effective strategies to support service users.
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge in communication and swallowing disorders, contributing to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users' mental capacity and ability to give informed consent.
- Assist service users in maximizing their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes.
- Hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
- Have experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
- Experience of working with families and evidence of continuing Professional Development.
- Be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and specialist clinical knowledge and experience in Adult Neuro-rehab.
- An excellent salary of £38,000 per annum.
- A Full Time role working 30 hours a week.
