Safety Expert

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Safety Expert to join our team at Elev8 Recruitment Ltd. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our staff and subcontractors on various construction sites in Ipswich.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct operational audits and behavioural exchanges to identify and mitigate potential risks.

* Provide safety insights and information to operational staff to help them perform their duties safely and efficiently.

* Support and advise managers to ensure their teams have the necessary safety knowledge and information.

* Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings to promote safety best practices.

* Manage safety-related administration, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety systems of work.

* Perform company inductions and drug/alcohol tests as per company policy.

* Compile monthly reports and maintain accurate records.

**Requirements:**

* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
