This all-encompassing role offers a great balance of accounts and audit responsibilities, with a focus on preparing accounts, filing corporation tax returns, and completing financial audits. Key Responsibilities:- Role split is approximately 75% accounts and 25% audit
- Preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients, predominantly small limited companies
- VAT returns, management accounts, and tax computations
- Audit of financial statements from planning through to completion
- Managing juniors, including assigning, overseeing, and reviewing work
- ACA / ICAEW or ACCA qualified with previous practice experience in accounts, audit, and taxation
- Constantly up to date with adaptations in legislation and compliance requirements
- IT skills, including Excel and any accounts and audit software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, CaseWare, etc)
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work accurately with good levels of attention to detail
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

- 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday (30-minute break)
