Director of Engineering for Power and Renewables

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our Power and Renewables team in Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for engineering leadership and strategic direction for our Power and Renewables business in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Power and Renewables European Engineering Organization to maintain core engineering competencies.
  • Collaborate with the Noida Centre of Excellence to position competitive solutions in the Power and Renewables industry.
  • Work with Regional Operations Directors and country organizations to improve their Power and Renewables engineering capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Proposal teams to drive competitive displacement projects and new initiatives.
  • Provide strategic mentorship and encourage core competency development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the automation industry with broad technical knowledge of Power and Renewables industry segments.
  • Proven experience in operational management roles.
  • Proficiency in English for interacting in daily written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment within a sophisticated matrix organization.
  • A third European language is considered a plus.
