About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Expert to join our Safety, Security & Safeguards team at National Nuclear Laboratory.

As a Human Factors Expert for Nuclear Safety, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe design and operation of our facilities and equipment. You will work closely with our engineers and scientists to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, and develop innovative solutions to improve safety and security.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct human factors assessments and analyses to identify potential safety risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective safety and security measures to mitigate risks and improve safety and security
  • Collaborate with our engineers and scientists to design and develop safe and secure facilities and equipment
  • Provide training and guidance to our staff on human factors and safety best practices

What You'll Need:

  • Strong background in human factors and safety engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
