About the Role

We're seeking a talented AI Engineer II to join our team in Belfast, where you'll work on cutting-edge AI projects that drive our cybersecurity detections and triage alerts. As a leader in the field, we're leveraging AI to accelerate threat investigation, detection, and response capabilities of our Security Operations Centre (SOC).

As an AI Engineer II, you'll design and implement AI models that address important challenges, working closely with development teams, data engineering, product managers, and UI/UX teams. Your focus will be on delivering customer value through research and development of AI/ML/data science models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI models using conventional machine learning, deep learning neural networks, and other data science techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI R&D and deliver customer value.
  • Take ownership of your work and contribute to the growth and development of your peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML/data science and apply your knowledge to drive innovation.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of your work, adhering to ethical and risk considerations.

Requirements:

  • Strong conceptual knowledge of AI/ML/data science with applied experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries like scikit-learn/sklearn.
  • Bonus: PhD or MSc in AI/ML/data science or a related field.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or other relevant fields is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
