About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to provide therapeutic care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop trusting relationships with colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, organize work patterns, and facilitate care-focused training.
  • Access appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience working in a Residential Children's home.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People/Children's Residential Workforce.
  • Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with strong people management skills.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • Full driving license is essential.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins.
